But suddenly, the carriage stopped.

The carriage shook violently, making Donner frown.

Then he heard a loud and nasty laugh outside.

“Haha, kid, what’s in the carriage?”

Beres had a solemn expression on his face as he took out his saber.

The dozen people on the opposite side looked at each other and laughed even louder.

“Boss, is this guy a fool? You want to fight to death with us bandits?”

The bandits laughed exaggeratedly.

As Beres listened to them, his expression became more solemn.

“I will fight you to the end at all costs!”

The bandit leader waved his hand.

“Boy, you are lucky. We don’t want your life. We just want to know how many good things are in your carriage. This carriage came from the mountain. Did you drive out from the castle?”

The bandits clearly recognized the carriage.

Seeing the gorgeous decorations on the carriage, how could the things inside the carriage be any worse?

Beres coldly snorted.

“You’re dreaming!”

As he spoke, he jumped down from the carriage and fought with the bandits.

It could be said that Beres’s personal abilities were very strong, but he couldn’t stand his ground against a crowd of people alone, especially at times like this.

It was inevitable that a fish slipped through the net and jumped onto the carriage and lifted the curtains.

The bandit was shocked by what he saw.

A beautiful silver fishtail.

“This is… a mermaid!”

The bandit looked at Donner’s face with eyes full of shock.

Stunned, he wanted to get closer to touch him.

In the next second…

The bandit standing on the carriage felt pain all over his body.

It was too late for him to even exclaim.

A bloody and cruel scene came next.

In a flash, he was dismembered and died instantly in the carriage.

He turned into a pile of rotten meat and blood.

This successfully made everyone who was fighting below stop their actions.

What just happened??

What is in that car??

Mermaid?

How is that possible!

How could a mermaid that represented happiness and luck do such a cruel and murderous action?

Countless thoughts went through everyone’s hearts, not daring to act rashly.

The curtains opened.

A mermaid with a delicate appearance and a light silver fish tail appeared in front of everyone.

The bandits swallowed subconsciously.

How beautiful and stunning.

It seemed as if though apart from these words, they couldn’t think of anything else in their minds.

Beres has an anxious expression on his face as he broke free from a bandit’s control and yelled loudly to Donner.

“Don’t worry! I will protect you! If they want to catch you, they’ll have to step over my dead body first!”

Donner raised his eyes and gave a small smile, his dark green eyes faint.

“You really deserve to die.”

Donner jumped out from the carriage.

His fins fell into the thick snow. Mysteriously, the snow around Donner melted.

With Donner as the center of the circle, the melting area grew bigger and bigger, like clean spring water.

A graceful and noble mermaid stood in the center, looking breathtakingly beautiful.

It was unknown which bandit took the lead, unable to help but want to touch Donner and step into the waters.

Donner smiled, showing his pearly white teeth. The smile was different from the past. It carried a lightness, like the physical and mental pleasure before enjoying a big meal.

His nails suddenly became long, outlined by light silver fish scales.

The murder weapon made people feel it was beautiful.

His hands moved, and the heart of the bandit closest to him was dug out.
